Itinerary 

You’ll arrive on December 27, 2024

- Opening Night (December 28, 2024):

 Welcome to the vibrant city of Accra, where the past and present intertwine seamlessly. Immerse yourself in the rich history of New Town, Ga Mashie, and Jamestown. Embark on a journey to the W.E.B. DuBois Center, Flagstaff House, and Makola Market, where the vibrant culture of Africa comes alive through its authentic fabrics. We can find clothing for the festival while out shopping and visiting the sites. 

The evening will be fun. Embody your inner Goddess or God or whatever else you want to express. It's our first night at the AfroFuture Fest, featuring the AfroBeats Music Museum, live performances, and stunning art installations.

- Second Day (December 29, 2024):

To continue exploring Accra, visit the National Museum, Black Star Gate, Independence Square, Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, and James Town.

Return to the AfroFuture for another night of Afrobeats, dancing, concerts, art, and fun! 

- Leisure Day (December 30, 2024):

Unwind and rejuvenate your body and mind while enjoying a Tantra Yoga session, then massages on the beach with Ma’ati Spa services. You can book your desired massage before arrival, or there may be an option upon arrival (I'll let you know). You can choose from a waterfall, beach, and hand and foot massages.

End the day with a delightful dinner at a local Restaurant.

- New Year’s Eve Party (December 31, 2024):

  Spend your day at leisure and prepare for AfroFuture’s New Year’s Eve Party.

We’ll set our intentions. Participate in a cacao ceremony, Tantra dance, meditation, and fire-burning ceremony to welcome the new year! 

Then we’ll dance the night away to Afro beats, make new friends, and celebrate the start of 2025 in Africa!!!.

- New Year’s Day (January 1, 2025):

Begin the year Brand New with a visit to Kakum National Park and a traditional Naming Ceremony in a local village, a unique and profound cultural experience. New Energy, New Life, welcome to the world the new Ancestrally connected, evolved You! #maincharacterenergy

- Hands-on Workshops (January 2, 2025):

Relax the morning away. Enjoy breakfast with a private chef! A Tantra Yoga session: later, for lunch, participate in a cooking session and batik-making workshop at the Global Mamas Workshop, empowering local women and learning new skills.

- Departure Day (January 3, 2025):

  Enjoy a morning of leisure, Tantra Yoga, and last-minute shopping before your transfer to the airport.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

• Citizens of Ghana and foreign residents who are not fully vaccinated, will, however, need to provide a negative PCR test result no more than 48-hours old, and will undergo an antigen test upon arrival in Ghana. For more information please visit here.
• Or- All persons 18 years-old and above arriving in Ghana will be required to provide evidence of full vaccination for a COVID-19 vaccine.
• Proof of Yellow Fever Vaccine is required for all US Citizens when entering Ghana.
• The CDC recommends you visit your doctor (ideally, 4-6 weeks) before your trip to get vaccines or medicines you may need.
• US passport valid for 6 months past your return date and one blank visa page.
• Yellow fever vaccination taken at least 10 days before arrival for US passport holders. 
• Note, if originating or transiting through WHO-designated yellow fever countries you may be required to have a yellow fever vaccination.
• Some have received a waiver for this requirement. You should consult your physician if you believe that you may qualify for a waiver.
• Malaria protection is highly encouraged (not required).
• A Visa is also required for US Passport Holders to enter into Ghana. 
• Non-US Citizens or travelers without a US passport will need to consult their local embassy.

PRICING

The payment towards your trip can be paid out bi-weekly monthly or all at once. It is important to keep up with your trip payment schedule, when you make payments towards your trip we in turn book activities, hotels and more on your behalf.

Be sure to inform us ahead of the deadlines if you anticipate making a late payment.

Sign ups will stay open until the trip is full. If you are joining the trip late simply pay your deposit to confirm your spot on the trip and catch up with your remaining payments.
